    IFEMA is committed to a strategic sector in Spain, the water industry, offering a commercial and business space with the new Trade Fair for Innovative Water Management Solutions, SIGA, which takes place between 28 February and 3 March 2017 in Hall 3 of Feria de Madrid, featuring 61 direct exhibitors and 94 represented companies from 14 countries, and 117 brands from 16 countries. SIGA will coincide with the first International Symposium and Exhibition for Hydro-Environmental Sensors and Software, organised jointly by IFEMA and IAHR (an English abbreviation standing for International Association for Hydro Environment Engineering and Research).
  • Sustainability stars “The III Solán de Cabras Art Award”
    ARCOmadrid 2018

    •The award’s aim is to give recognition to an artist career whose work is linked with the field of Sustainability.

    •Submissions will close January the 30th for artists above 18 year old, represented by galleries taking part in ARCOmadrid 2018.

  • AFAMOUR will hold its 5th Design Awards ceremony at TECMA 2018

    The Asociación de Fabricantes de Mobiliario Urbano y Parques Infantiles, AFAMOUR (Association of Manufacturers of Urban Equipment and Playgrounds), will hold the fifth edition of its Design Awards for children's playgrounds.
    How to rewild our cities through new urban and human landscapes, under discussion at the SUSTAINABLE ENVIRONMENTAL SOLUTIONS FORUM, FSMS 2018

    On 10 January 2018, the third Laboratory of the Environment and Sustainability Forum, FSMS, was held at the Feria de Madrid. The FSMS will provide the framework for Madrid’s third Cities Forum, to be held between 13 and 15 June 2018 at the Feria de Madrid.
  • illycaffè awards young artists from LatinAmerica in ARCOmadrid2018
    illycaffè, once more time and after eleven years, keeps supporting young artists, whose artwork will be represented in ARCOmadrid2018.

    •An independent jury formed by art commissioner Adriano Pedrosa and María Inés Rodríguez, along with illy’s Art Director Carlo Bach, will reckon the work of Latinamerican artists, born from 1970 onwards.

    •illycaffè creates #illyWalk initiative, a route amongst twenty bars, restaurants and hotels of Madrid city centre, where ARCO visitors can enjoy a free illy espresso during the dates of the art fair, from February 25th to 21st.

    •illycaffè, is the coffee partner of ARCOmadrid, for 14 years and there will be a tasting area in pavilion 7, VIP Area and will manage a coffee shop in the food área of pavilion 9.

    •In the mark of 25 years of illy in Spain, the complete illy art collection of designed cups by 111 artists will be shown for the first time in Spain at El Corte Ingles de Pozuelo, Madrid.

  • Momad Metrópolis presents the First “Momad Talents” Competition
    MOMAD Metrópolis, International Fashion Show, organised by IFEMA, wants to support young designers, giving them the opportunity to present their collections at next February's edition of the show (2-4 February). For this reason, it launched the First MOMAD Talents Competition which includes the free provision of a shared mini-stand to the two best collections submitted. A professional jury formed from amongst the organisers of the competition will select the winners.

  • FITUR 2018 joins the solidarity challenge that MSF and CEAV launch at the trade fair as part of its campaign
    This year, FITUR joins the Spanish Confederation of Travel Agencies, CEAV , and Doctors Without Borders, MSF, to promote the "" campaign. A collaboration designed for the promotion of this initiative through the different communication platforms for the great international event of the Tourism sector, organized by IFEMA from January 17 to 21, as well as its dissemination among FITUR visitors, providing a space at the trade fair to boost the campaign and to achieve the challenge they have proposed: get enough support to fill 100 humanitarian aid planes.
  • PROMOGIFT 2018 helps reinforce the growth of the promotional gift sector in Spain
    The turnover of the Spanish industry in 2017 reached €1 billion according to the FYVAR

    PROMOGIFT, the International Promotional Gift Show, organised by IFEMA to be held from 23 to 25 January 2018 in Hall 12 of Feria de Madrid, will bolster the growth seen in the Advertising Item sector, in terms of both supply and demand.
  • The AIMFAP, with over one hundred associated promotional and advertising gift companies, supports PROMOGIFT yet again
    The AIMFAP Association of Importers, Wholesalers and Manufacturers of Promotional Items, with over a hundred associates, is once again supporting PROMOGIFT, the International Promotional Gift Show, which it has attended since its first edition.

    The AIMFAP is a business association formed exclusively by importers, manufacturers and wholesalers of promotional items, as well as other companies related to the sector in fields such as printing, dye-sublimation, etc.
  • SICUR CYBER, new to the next edition of SICUR 2018
    · A space organized by IFEMA and co-organized with the Spanish Association for the Promotion of Information Security, ISMS Forum, will be the meeting-point for trade experts to talk about trends, regulations, solutions, challenges and threats to an ever-changing industry that impacts every area of cybersecurity.

    · SICUR 2018 will be held from February 20-23, 2018 at the Feria de Madrid.
  • The industry gives its all to make UNIGOLF into an international benchmark
    The Trade Show will be held from 1-3 March 2018

    Unigolf 2018 is now in full swing. More than fifty businesses have shown their commitment to be at the main trade fair on golf in Spain, which will be held on 1 to 3 March in Pavilion 14 at IFEMA, in Madrid.
    Like the Olympic slogan says, this second edition of Unigolf is growing under IFEMA's leadership. Faster, higher, stronger: this is the spirit behind this must-see event for every industry involved in golf, a fundamental activity in developing tourism, sports and industry in Spain.
  • The world tourism industry gathers around the most technological staging of FITUR
    The Trade Show has grown by 8%, in line with the good moment that the world tourism sector is enjoying and with the record figures in Spain.

    International participation has grown by 13%, and includes new countries and new official representations. There has also been a growth in the participation of national representations (3%) and of technological firms (16%).

    India will be the FITUR Partner and will be the fifth country by presence in the Trade Show.

    FITUR will be breaking ground as an ‘Augmented Trade Show’, since it will premiere the development of a set of tourist and trade show management apps. They will deploy their functionalities with 5G technology in the near future.

    The strategy of segmentation has added the new FITUR FESTIVALS to its monographic sections, in response to the growing specialisation and the search for new market niches.
    The Trade Show will be generating 260 million euros over its five days, and will strengthen the various sectors connected to tourism in Madrid.

    IFEMA kicks off the international schedule of tourism trade fairs with FITUR 2018, the great business and professional meeting platform that will present the latest proposals, destinations and news of world tourism in Madrid between 17th-21st January. Like every year, this staging will allow agents from this industry to establish the lines of work that will set the programme for the whole year. Many business meetings will be held and contacts and business exchanges will be made.
  • MBFWMadrid-January 2018 receives support from 23 sponsors
    As in previous editions, MBFWMadrid January 2018, organised by IFEMA, will also receive a significant amount of support from sponsoring brands. A total of 23 outstanding brands, leaders in the respective sectors, will support this edition. It is notable that several prestigious brands have signed up as sponsors for this edition, choosing MBFWMadrid as a leading brand in the fashion sector to give visibility to their own brands.
