  • High-quality attendees underline the success of EXPOFRANQUICIA 2018
    31.7% of attendees at the trade fair came with the intention of acquiring a franchise within a maximum timeframe of one year, while 5.9% sought a master franchise agreement at the fair

    This wide-reaching event welcomed visitors from all of Spain’s autonomous regions and from 40 countries

    Organised by IFEMA and held from 19 to 21 April, it brought together 500 brands and 15,248 visitors under the roof of Pavilion 4 at Feria de Madrid

    After an influx of 15,248 visitors during 19 to 21 April, EXPOFRANQUICIA 2018, the International Franchising Trade Fair, closed its doors on an event that gathered together proposals from 500 actively expanding brands in Hall 4 of Feria de Madrid. This year has stood out for its quality of visitors, in terms of both their high purchase intent and investor profile, and for its continued dynamism and capacity to attract visitors, with attendees from all of Spain’s autonomous regions, as well as from 40 different countries.

    IFEMA convenes the 19th edition of the International Exhibition of Solutions for the Electrical and Electronics Industry, MATELEC 2018, which will take place next 13 to 16 November, in Halls 2, 4, 6, 5 and 7 of Feria de Madrid, under the umbrella of ePower&Building with the slogan "Transforming the way we build a Green World”. An event that includes all solutions for a building's lifecycle, - CONSTRUTEC, BIMEXPO, ARCHISTONE and VETECO -, and expects to gather 1,600 exhibiting companies –30% more than in the past 2016 edition- and more than 80,000 professional visitors, from 100 countries, positioning it as one of the main European platforms for the building industry, where sustainability, innovation and technology will be the keys for the transformation of the industry. The MATELEC event joins this big event with its three areas: MATELEC, LIGHTING and INDUSTRY.
  • ExpoÓptica 2018 closes its doors having surpassed all expectations
    During its celebration, the trade show organised by IFEMA registered over 8,300 participants and brought 159 direct exhibiting companies together as well as close to 170 brands - 14% more than during the 2016 edition. Exhibitors presented their new products and innovations in an exhibition space of close to 5000m2, located in hall number 9.

    ExpoÓptica, the International Optics, Optometry and Audiology Exhibition, Iberian Peninsula's leading professional fair for the sector and a business meeting place for all its agents in Spain and Portugal, has now concluded its thirty-second edition, which was held from the 13th to the 15th of April at IFEMA- Feria de Madrid, and which surpassed all expectations.

  • Over 500 franchise businesses for all levels of investment at EXPOFRANQUICIA 2018
    Approximately 17% of all the franchise businesses present at the fair entail an investment of around €30,000; 25.5% of €30,000 to €60,000; 29% of €60,000 to €120,000; 16% of €120,000 to €180,000; 9.5% of €180,000 to €300,000, and just over 2% entail an investment of over €300,000.

    Fruit Attraction, the International Trade Show for the Fruit and Vegetable Industry, organised by FEPEX and IFEMA, is expecting even more exhibitors to occupy 16% more exhibition space at its 10th edition, which is scheduled to take place from 23 March to 25 October. These forecasts were made yesterday after the first space allocation meeting. The meeting will continue assigning spaces in the producers’ area until Wednesday, and then resume next week for the auxiliary industry.
  • IBERZOO+PROPET 2018 welcomes nearly 16 thousand professional visitors
    Almost 500 companies showcased the latest developments in the pet products and services industry

    A total of 15,732 professionals from 46 countries gathered together for the second joint IBERZOO+PROPET International Trade Fair for Petcare Professionals - the ninth for PROPET and the sixth for IBERZOO. From 15 to 17 March, the latest developments in the petcare industry were unveiled at the Feria de Madrid by 468 direct exhibitors, represented firms and brands. The event’s strong attendance figures confirm IBERZOO+PROPET’s standing as the Iberian Peninsula’s premier commercial and business event for the petcare sector. The trade fair was officially opened on 15 March by José Luis Sanz, the Director General of Agriculture and Livestock of the Community of Madrid, and Luis Miralles de Imperial from the Ministry of Economy’s Sub-directorate of the Secretary General for Science and Innovation.
