  • A more architectural ARCOmadrid to enhance the visibility of the artist.
    From 27 February to 3 March

    A total of 203 galleries from 31 countries are taking part, 166 of which are part of the General Programme, in addition to the curated sections: 'Peru at ARCO', with a selection of 24 artists from 15 galleries; 'Dialogues', with 13 galleries and 'Opening', with 21

    About 40% of the galleries are participating with programmes focused on the presentation of one or two artists from different environments, to which 38 special projects distributed across the fair are added, underlining ARCOmadrid as a space to get to know artist' work.

    The Fair consolidates its Latin American projection with the presence of Peru as the guest of honour.
  • Monographic exhibition of the Fundación ARCO Collection at Torreão Nascente da Cordoaria Nacional in Lisbon
    Lisbon will host the Criteria exhibition starting on 30 January, consisting of a selection of works from the Fundación ARCO/IFEMA Collection, which can be visited until 21 April at the Galeria do Torreão Nascente de la Cordoaria, a space managed by Galerias Municipais/EGEAC.

    Fundación ARCO, promoted by IFEMA, has given out its "A" Awards for Collecting, recognising on this occasion six collections: Cleusa Garfinkel; CAAC MALI, Museo de Arte de Lima; The Meadows Foundation; the Banco de España Collection; the HEF Collection, Juan Entrecanales Azcárate; and the Kells Collection, Juan Manuel Elizalde and Choli Fuentes.

    Presented by the Revolver gallery, Galvani's project explores the frontiers of the unknown and seems to illustrate a new cosmology.

    Organised by IFEMA, the Trade Fair will be held from 27 February to 3 March

    Peru arrives at ARCOmadrid 2019 to showcase its contemporary production with the focus on the quality of its artists, an aspect that has determined the profile of its presentation. A deep curatorial work, provided by Sharon Lerner, will allow this meticulously elaborated presence to be discovered. 'Peru at ARCO ', a section supported by the Peruvian Ministry of Culture and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Peruvian Embassy in Spain and Promperú, will be one of the main attractions at the next Fair, which is organised by IFEMA and will be held from 27 February to 3 March in Madrid.
  • MEETING OF THE ADVISORY BOARD OF FUNDACIÓN ARCO
    Last 22 October, the Advisory Board and Trustees of Fundación ARCO meeting took place at IFEMA, during which the 2017 report was presented and the Action Plan for 2019 was approved. With the participation of people of particular importance in the cultural, academic and professional world and chaired by Clemente González Soler - Chairman of IFEMA’s Executive Committee, the meeting's aim was to approve the Action Plan for next year and for the 38th edition of ARCOmadrid, which is to be held from 27 February to 3 March 2019.
  • 7th AUDEMARS PIGUET Award for the production of a work of art
    Audemars Piguet has announced the 7th edition of the Award for the Creation of a Work of Art, which awards 15,000 euros for the production of a work that will be exhibited in the brand’s space at ARCOmadrid 2019.
