  • More than 9,000 trade visitors attended MEAT ATTRACTION in 2017
    MEAT ATTRACTION, the Meat Sector trade fair, was held extremely successfully for the first time from 18 to 20 October at Feria de Madrid. More than 9,000 professionals visited the first trade show in Spain devoted exclusively to Spain’s fourth most important industry, which has a turnover of 22,600 million euros. The new project, organised by IFEMA, and ANICE, the National Meat Processing Industries Association of Spain, attracted 242 exhibitors and represented companies from 16 countries, receiving a great welcome from the sector.

    IFEMA and the National Meat Processing Industries Association of Spain (ANICE), have announced the second edition of the Meat Sector Trade Fair MEAT ATTRACTION that will take place from Tuesday, 18 September to Thursday, 20 September 2018, in Hall 4 at Feria de Madrid.

    On 13 November, the Organising Committee met at IFEMA to set the dates of the next meeting in light on the very positive participation figures of the first edition, which took place from 18 to 20 October this year. This is the first professional trade fair in Spain specifically for the meat sector, which the country’s fourth-most-important industry, with a turnover of 22,600 million euro, which this year brought together 242 exhibitors and represented companies from 16 countries, and more than 9,000 trade visitors.

    More than 150 companies demonstrate the potential of the Spanish meat industry at MEAT ATTRACTION 2017

    IFEMA presents its new project, MEAT ATTRACTION, the Trade Show for the Meat Industry, with the support of the National Meat Processing Industries Association of Spain (ANICE), which aims to become a reference in the sector and to contribute to the internationalisation of a sector that represents the fourth-largest industry in Spain, generating turnover of €22.6bn. To this end, a total of 154 companies from six countries (Spain, Ireland, Morocco, the Netherlands, Portugal and Sweden) are coming together, from 18 to 20 October 2017, in Hall 3 of the Feria de Madrid, to exhibit their wide offer of products and services. This offer occupies an 8,500-m2 space.
  • MEAT ATTRACTION 2017, a space for discussion and analysis of the meat sector
    MEAT ATTRACTION, the Trade Show for the Meat Sector, has scheduled a full agenda of professional meetings in parallel to its commercial expo, making the Fair a privileged space for discussion and analysis for the meat industry. The event, organised by IFEMA and the Spanish National Association of Meat Industries (ANICE), is celebrating its first edition from 18 to 20 October 2017, at Feria de Madrid.
    IFEMA takes the helm at the end of the 9th Global Ham Congress

    MEAT ATTRACTION played an active part in the Congress held in the capital of Castilla-La Mancha, presenting the first edition of the trade fair.

    IFEMA-MEAT ATTRACTION has been chosen as the venue for the 10th Global Ham Congress, an event that brings together the entire national and international ham industry. It will take place in 2019 at Feria de Madrid.
  • MEAT ATTRACTION will drive the internationalisation of the Spanish meat industry
    The first edition of this trade fair is being organised with support from the National Meat Processing Industries Association of Spain (ANICE), and the first edition will take place from 18 to 20 October 2017. It will be an opportunity for SEM and large companies in the meat and meat derivatives sector to meet with industry suppliers and distributors.

    IFEMA and ANICE have started travelling the main Spanish regions and areas with significant meat industries to launch the event. In the initial phase, these will include: Jabugo, Zaragoza, Extremadura, Valencia, Barcelona, Madrid, Valladolid, Guijuelo, Seville, Asturias, La Rioja, Toledo, Majorca and Segovia, among others

    The international buyer's programme and hosted buyer initiative, which brings guests selected by the exhibitors themselves to the event, are two of the valuable features that MEAT ATTRACTION is offering to participating companies seeking to expand their business portfolios and access new markets
    Supported by the ANICE Association, the fair was born with the aim of becoming the benchmark for the industry and to leverage the internationalisation of an industry that comes fourth in the Spanish league table, with a turnover of €22 billion.

    The first edition will be held from 18th to 20th October 2017. It will bring together small and medium sized enterprises and big companies from the meat and meat products industry as well as meat industry suppliers and distributors in a single-theme event designed for professionals.

    Holding MEAT ATTRACTION at the same time as FRUIT ATTRACTION will create Southern Europe's leading international fresh products trade show.
