  • Salón Look reasserts its leading position and ability in the Iberian Pensinsula as its 20th edition comes to a close
    The fair received more than 65,000 professionals, of whom more than 2,000 came from abroad

    More than 400 exhibitors and 1,300 Spanish and international brands took part in this edition, occupying five halls (2, 3, 4, 5 and 14.1) at IFEMA, one more than in previous editions

    The fair activities programme had an excellent response. Many of the activities saw record visitor numbers and were fully booked weeks in advance

    For the 2018 edition, the fair will look at how to better distribute spaces to satisfy all of the sectors represented
  • Salon Look celebrates 20 years, reaffirming its leadership and commitment to the integral beauty sector
    This IFEMA-organised event is celebrating its 20th year, with the highest levels of participation in recent years, including more than 400 exhibitors and 1,300 national and international brands. It is the largest meeting of professionals from the world of beauty, hairdressing and cosmetics on the Iberian Peninsula

    The year's exhibition has added another hall to give a total of 5, where professionals can learn first-hand about the latest trends, innovations and product releases with a view to the next season
  • Salon Look ‘17 presents the new Business Meeting, for beauty industry professionals
    It will be held on 3 November, during the first day of the exhibition, with a series of talks and papers on topics of utmost interest to the sector, such as “Recent trends in off-line and on-line professional channels” and “The journey from technique to experience”.
  • The 5th Salón Look Awards go to top professionals in the Spanish Beauty and Hairdressing sector.

    The ten winners, chosen from some thirty finalists, were Lewis Amarante, Best Professional Career in Beauty and Luis Miguel Vecina, Best Professional Career in Hairdressing; Mensajeros de la Paz-Pelobus, Best CharityAction; Idili Lizcano de Alqvimia, Best Business Project in Beauty and Narcís Oriol Quintana, Best Business Project in Hairdressing; Haute Custom Beauty, Best Salon Concept in Beauty and Maison Eduardo Sánchez, Best Salon Concept in Hairdressing; Flash Moda, Best Communications; Consuelo Silveira, Best Training Project in Beauty, and Cebado, Best Training Project in Hairdressing

    Two Honorary Awards were given to Felicidad Carrera and Alberto Cerdán, for their involvement in and personal dedication to the Beauty and Hair industries, respectively.
  • Felicidad Carrera and Alberto Cerdán will receive the honorary award at the 5th edition of the Salón Look awards
    Both award winners were chosen by a professional jury made up of experts from the hair and beauty sector, as well as Beauty journalists, who singled them out for their involvement in and personal dedication to the Beauty and Hair sectors, respectively.

  • Another edition of the Salon Look Make-Up Championships is announced for 2017
    This time the themes chosen are the Dark Girls and 80’s Urban Tribes looks

  • The Effervescene hairdressing show, by Mikel Luzea, will celebrate its fourth edition in Salón Look 2017
    It will take place on Sunday 5 November, at 11:30 am in Hall 14.1 of IFEMA-Feria de Madrid and four state-of-the-art teams will be taking part: Carlos Valiente, José Siero, Pelsynera and Mikel Luzea

  • Salón Look 2017 will host the second edition of the Hispano-American Congress of Micropigmentation at IFEMA
    Organised by IFEMA and the Spanish Association of Micropigmentation, during the congress, attendees will be able to learn four different eyebrow techniques, using both a dermographer and a manual inductor (“microblading”), and the latest techniques for the lips, eyes, areola, hair and pigmentology

    The topics on the agenda will be taught by the best international trainers , such as Francesca Marta Froio (Italy); Jane Hargreaves (Great Britain); Sol Volcan and Oscar Gómez (Colombia); Soula Koutsogiannaki (Greece); Filomena Bernardo (Portugal); Alessandro Lardi (Italy), and María Dolores Pérez Sancho, Dina Gil and Mar Díaz (Spain)
  • Salón Look 2017 will host the third edition of the Massages of the World Workshops coordinated by Consuelo Silveira.
    The training sessions, coordinated by the renowned beautician, will take place on Saturday 4 November.

  • The 5th Salón Look Awards has already selected its 30 finalists.
    Organised by Salón Look, the objective of these awards is to highlight the professionals, companies and organisations in the hairdressing and beauty sectors whose creativity and efforts are promoting an improvement in training and business management as well as in promotion, information and social action.

    The winners will be selected from the finalists in each of the five categories. The selection in the Best Professional Career in the beauty category includes: Claudia Di Paolo, Lovely Lashes and Lewis Amarante; and in hairdressing: Eduardo Sánchez, Luis Miguel Vecina and Sile Peluqueros; in Best Charitable Initiative: Córtate Madrid, Mensajeros de la Paz-Pelobus, and Wella; in Best Business Project in the beauty category: Idili Lizcano from Alqvimia, Comercial Cosmética Valladolid and Novasonix and in the hairdressing category: Narcís Oriol Quintana, Laboratorios Valquer and Rizo's; in Best Salon Concept in the aesthetic category: Haute Custom Beauty, Júcaro and The Organic Spa, and in the hairdressing category: Cool Day, La Barbería de Gracia and La Maison; in Best Communication: Belleza Activa, Flash Moda and Pink Secret Garden; in Best Training Project in the beauty category: Consuelo Silveira, ESEI and Nutec, and in the hairdressing category: Academias C&C, Cebado and Rizo's. In addition, an Honorary Award is also given at each event to a professional of recognised standing in each of the sectors: Beauty and Hairdressing.
