  • A successful outcome for GENERA 2018
The International Energy and Environment Trade Fair, organised by IFEMA and held between 13 and 15 June, brought together 105 companies and was attended by 10,848 industry professionals from 40 countries

The event’s programme of Technical Conferences also met with great success, with 1,400 attendees brought together over the course of 21 sessions

GENERA also played host to a total of 103 meetings involving 94 industry professionals, within the framework of bilateral meetings organised by Fundación madri+d

GENERA 2018 also welcomed Teresa Ribera, Minister for Ecological Transition
  • The GENERA 2018 Innovation Gallery highlights 19 pioneering projects in energy efficiency and renewable energies
Increasing energy efficiency, significantly reducing consumption and reducing environmental impact are the main aims that characterise the projects presented in this edition. Saving in energy production by leveraging Internet of Things (IoT) technology, providing electricity in developing countries and remote locations, or expanding solar energy capture are some of the most striking objectives of these projects.

The Innovation Gallery at GENERA 2018, Energy and Environment International TradeFair, organised by IFEMA from 13 to 15 June, has selected 19 projects in recognition of their contribution to the development of renewables and energy efficiency in Spain. The initiative aims to encourage the scientific and technological research effort by public-sector and private organisations, and the innovation work by companies in this sector.

The projects have been selected by a jury of experts, professionals and representatives of leading industry associations, by taking into account each project’s degree of innovation, energy efficiency, applicability and ability to positively influence the progress of renewable energies and energy efficiency.
  • GENERA 2018's technical conferences will analyse the transition to a sustainable energy model
Energy efficiency within urban environments to mitigate climate change, self-consumption on the grid, nearly zero-energy buildings and decarbonisation solutions for countries and energy balance of heat pumps - these are just some of the subjects to be discussed during the many sessions on the schedule.

Organised by IFEMA, GENERA will take place in hall 8 at Feria de Madrid, from 13 to 15 June 2018.

The Technical Conferences programme at GENERA's Energy and Environment International Trade Fair, organised by IFEMA, will this year feature a total of 21 sessions and will be held from 13 to 15 June. It will be a space for the debate and analysis of the sector's most pressing current issues, which will once again serve as a meeting point for companies, professionals, public administration representatives and associations which are linked to the world of renewable energy, energy efficiency and the environment.
